Sergio Canazza Targon
Sergio Canazza is Full Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova, where he teaches Foundations of Computer Science (Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering) and Computer Engineering for Music and Multimedia (Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering). He is Director of the Centro di Sonologia Computazionale (CSC), University of Padova .
His research activity lies at the intersection of computer engineering and music, integrating information engineering research with musicology, philology and archivistics methodologies. His main research areas include: (a) preservation, restoration, and reactivation of musical and media art cultural heritage; and (b) musical intelligence within the field of Artificial Intelligence.
He serves as Advisory Editor of the Journal of New Music Research (Taylor & Francis Group) and is author or co-author of more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
He has chaired and served on the scientific committees of numerous international conferences and has acted as European coordinator in several national and international research projects. He served as Director of the University Multimedia and E-Learning Center (2013–2016) and as University Coordinator for Web and Multimedia (2015–2016).
He is Chairman of the Board of Audio Innova, a university spin-off developing audio technologies for the preservation and restoration of sound cultural heritage, as well as interactive technologies for technology-enhanced inclusive learning.
He holds a patent in the field of occupational safety. He won two consecutive Golden Palm Awards (2023 and 2024) at the Cannes Artificial Intelligence Festival, recognizing the world’s most innovative and impactful Artificial Intelligence project.

Michele Patella
ICT Manager, from Padua. In his work he combines his past experiences in information security with his passion for the internet and web in particular.
He developed first course in Italy on parental control, to raise awareness and provide tools to parents of pre-school children and teenagers for a responsible use of online resources..
He firmly believes that technological systems should be used (and not considered as threats) at their full potential to support the learning process at each educational level, including primary school, and he applies such principle in his teaching activity at the Clair institute in Padua.
He daily deals with the following areas:

Antonio Rodà
After graduating in Engineering from the University of Padova (1996), he pursued a PhD in Audio-visual Science from the University of Udine (2007). In the meanwhile, he was carrying on his musical studies; he graduated in violin from the Conservatory of Padua (1994) and in composition from the Conservatory of Verona (2009).
Since 1997 he has been contributing as researcher at the Centro di Sonologia Computazionale of the University of Padua, the research center for music informatics founded in 1976.
His main research interests are:
- the study of computational models for music expressive performance
- multimedia and interactive learning environments planning
- restoration and preservation of audio documents
He took part in 11 national and international research projects. He is author and co-author of more than 80 articles in national and international specialized magazines and peer reviewed documents for conferences. He currently has an open-ended contract as researcher for the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padua and he is adjunct professor of the course on “Calculator Architecture” in the first–cycle degree course in Information Engineering.

Alberto Angeleri
In his long experience as executive in several companies, he developed high-level practice in all the main areas of firm management: administration, accounting, national and international business, human resources, production planning, information technology.
His passion and dedication for ICT and the internet brought him to collaborate with educational bodies in the Veneto region. A computer sciences teacher in several courses, mostly funded by the European Social Fund, he still works as a trainer in IT related fields for Audio Innova.
He is mainly interested in web projects, particularly on development and deployment of e-commerce and informational websites, which are considered one of the business focus of the company.
Thanks to his long lasting experience in business management and to his highly recognized professionalism, he satisfactorily supports customers in the kick-off phase of their relationship with Audio Innova and in web projects overall management.
Carlo Mariconda
Since 2011 I coordinate the Commission for New Teaching Technologies in my Math Department. As Lead Educator, I realized 7 Moocs on different international platforms (EduOpen, Federica.eu, Futurelearn) platforms. The Mooc “Basic Mathematics”, was followed by more than 80,000 students.
I have been Advisor for e-learning and innovative teaching for the University of Padua where I am, since 2022, advisor for digital Education. I am coordinating the Teaching4Learning project, https://www.unipd.it/teaching4learning, aimed at the improvement of teaching. I played an active role during the Covid emergency to bring, among the first in the Western world, 2300 courses online and to write the guidelines for online exams.
In 2017, together with Prof. Alberto Tonolo, we developed the BoardOnAir™, an innovative glass board that allows to make videos independently, facing students, pasting directly images, videos or pen comments without the need for post-production.

Elisabetta Novello
In 1997 she obtained a PhD in “Urban and Rural History” (University of Perugia). Dissertation: “Reclamation in Veneto from the Italian Unification (1861) to the 1930s”.
Since 1st March 2006 Elisabetta Novello has been Assistant Professor in Economic History at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Padua and professor in Economic History for the degree course for teachers of Historical Sciences and in Les savoirs, les métiers et les productions industrielles: l’importance des sources orales (Skills, occupations, and industrial production: the importance of oral sources) in the Master Erasmus Mundus: Tecniques, Patrimoine, Territoires de l’industrie (Industrial Heritage, Techniques, Territories).
From 2006 to 2012 she has been a member of the Board of the Italian Association of Oral History. Since 2021 she is a member of the Board of the Italian Association of Environmental History (SiSAm).

Cristina Paulon
Graduated in Chemistry at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and in Business and Management at the University of London, she has been working as IT staff at University of Padova for more than 20 years. She is currently Head of Departmental Unit – IT Unit at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology. She gained multidisciplinary competencies and skill in several IT related fields. To name a few:
* Multimedia systems for education
* Networks and systems management, especially in cybersecurity
* Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC) production and development
Niccolò Mariconda
Expert in development, production, and distribution of multimedia content starts his career as a video technician and then specializes in the production of advertising and branded content projects with hundreds of videos made from 2016 to date.
Throughout the years, he dedicated himself to the facilitation of distance learning (DAD) by producing material for universities and companies and collaborating in the development of BoardOnAir™, a tool that allows you to create video lessons independently.
He works as a consultant and artistic director in the creation and recovery of social channels of important brands, in addition to supporting the logistics and organization of foreign advertising spots in the Veneto region.
In 2021 he founded his own film production company to create projects that support foundations and associations specializing in scientific research and sustainability and always looking to involve young talents.
